Metric at The Masonic last night. I’ve loved these guys for 20 years, but just haven’t been able to catch them live. I did see them were at the Just Like Heaven Festival, but it was a brief 45 minute set, in the middle of a dozen other artists.
This show was amazing. The production value of their performance was maybe the most stunning thing. These guys really put on a show.
And what the fuck is Emily Haines cardio routine, because, my god did she jump, and run, and dance through the whole thing, without ever being out of breath or missing a note.
