what comments?

As you may have noticed, I had removed the comments from my blog for a little while today. It was kind of a knee-jerk reaction, to some comments someone had left earlier. There’s really something to be said for writing things that are somewhat personal in nature, and opening them up for a public forum. It’s exciting and interesting, but on the other hand it can be abused. Maybe I’m too sensitive. Maybe my ego is too fragile. But, honestly, I have a lot of trouble with someone putting me down (even if it is indirectly) in my own blog. It’s just not cool. And personal attacks from a previous argument are WAY out of line. That said, I just won’t even waste anymore effort worrying about it—I can’t. And I don’t want to turn them off for everyone. Some of you write some really great stuff, and it’s interesting to see what you think of my rambling. So if you want to write crazy rude hurtful things, go right on ahead; I’ll even leave them up for everyone to see.
