Wow. I’m putting this up there with Ponyo and Wall-E as one of my very favorites. This is an absolute hell of a thing they did.
I also recognize—that movie was straight up made for me: kinda slow, no dialogue, weird post-apocalyptic story you have to piece together through environment, tragic death scene(s), amazing music, and anthropomorphized animals.
