CHiPs

so last night I had the strangest dream… 
I was pulling into a gas station in the desert. 
And there was a local farmer selling vegetables at the station, 
They looked great so I bought quite a bit. 
Cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers. 
Really good looking stuff, all of it.
It was kinda priced high, but being that I was out in the desert, 
and fairly hungry I didn’t mind. 

Taking my bag of veggies back to the car, 
I eagerly peered in to grab a carrot to munch on. 
Much to my dismay, the vegetables were crawling with bugs. 
I was quite disturbed by this. 
I walked back over to the farmer to return the fouled produce, 
and unfortunately, The farmer insisted that I was lying;
that I put the bugs in the bag.

We then proceeded to get in a rather large argument 
that resulted in many vegetables being thrown at one another. 
At the height of our food throwing frenzy, 
the police showed up on their motorcycles. 

As they dismounted their bikes, 
I realized it was, in fact, John and Ponch 
(the cops from the early 80’s show ChiPs)
(cue CHiPs theme song: duh-dah-dun-nunt-nah)

So, I was trying to tell ponch the situation. 
“listen ponch. I just wanted to get my money back” I said. 
In the super cool eric estrada method, he said he’s help out, 
And began pelting the farmer with tomatoes. 

At this point, I sat upright in bed, 
And asked aloud to nobody: “what the fuck was that?”
